Our Gift to the Playa: Twisted Swan Burning Man Camp
The Twisted Swan Burning Man Camp and Temple of Bacchus are our gifts to Black Rock City. This information is for 2026, but is still in flux
CAMP REGISTRATION will open later this spring for 2026
Twisted Swan Celtic Pub:
Irish-style publick house that serves libations from 8 PM to 2 AM, Sunday – Saturday
Temple of Bacchus:
The chill space is open 24/7 and serves water, and other refreshments from 2 PM to 8 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Camp requirements:
Work at least one 4-hour shift
When you join, you will have access to the shift sign-up form. If no shifts are left, be a good burner and ask where you can help. Standard shifts include:
-
-
- Bartender 1
- Fluffer
- Door
- Porto Captain (full day, but low work)
-
5 gallons of sealed water for the camp
This requirement is waived if you are arriving on the burner express, although contributing to the ice run is appreciated.
Camp dues for 2026 are $350 until August, then go up to $400
The dues are needed to help us with our infrastructure, including (but not limited to)
- Bar shade and structure
- Seating, furniture, and decor
- Gray water storage and removal
- Shower structure
- Repairs, replacements, and upgrades
- Transportation and storage
- Keezer/kegerator supplies (generator fuel, C02, etc.)
- Beer/cider/mead
Camp Benefits Include:
10×10 space per person for a tent. RV space may be available upon request only and is limited.
Heated camp shower with gray water removal. (Please bring your own water if not on BXB, and use it sparingly due to limited gray water storage.)
Cold beer and other libations 24/7
Community Space:
If someone else does not have the camp community space at the Twisted Swan Burning Man camp booked, you can use it. Just ask, and you may host whatever event you wish (yoga, crafts, sing-a-longs, gaming, or any other gift you would like to bring to the playa).
Meal Share Program (through Poly Paradise Kitchen)
Cook one meal for 25 people (with your own ingredients); then enjoy the rest of the week’s kitchen-prepared food. (You are always welcome to cook more than one meal if you are so inclined).
You get to eat what others make, and trust me, no one eats like Poly Paradise on Playa. And you get fed all week (Did we mention our Tri-Tip night or Turkey Dinner?).
Campers will assist with camp cleanup and excess dishwashing when necessary.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meal, including a robust spice cabinet, propane burners, pots, pans, a grill (limited space), bowls, spatulas, etc. (no oven). If you need special equipment, please bring it.
A sign-up form for meals will be made available closer to the burn.
Limited Shade for Tent Campers: First come, first served. We have a 40×40 shade area for tents.
Additional Options:
Porta-potty (TBD)
What we do NOT provide
To provide a robust camp experience and gift to the playa, while keeping our costs down, we are unable to offer/provide the following:
Water/Ice
While we will truck in water, as a food-service camp, we depend on our campers to supplement our H2O requirements. You can buy ice on Playa, which can be melted for water. It is the ONLY item you can buy on Playa.
Tents
We have limited space for additional infrastructure, and cannot bring tents or other camping structures. To do so, we would need to significantly increase our dues.
Bicycles
We have limited space for additional infrastructure, and cannot bring bicycles.. To do so, we would need to increase our dues significantly.
Electrical Connections
We do not offer electrical hookups or generators. There is a small area within Poly Paradise for charging phones and other low-power items such as low-wattage bike lights.
Tickets
You must procure your own ticket and vehicle pass. Keep an eye out for ticket announcements. If you miss out on general sales, we recommend checking with the Burning Man STEP. for the safest way to obtain tickets
